For over 20 years Metallurgical Engineering Services (MES) has offered materials testing services. We offer an independent, third party laboratory with modern equipment and highly experienced staff. Our modern facilities include an extensive electron beam laboratory equipped with five Scanning Electron Microscopes. These microscopes and equipment provide EDX for composition determination, Auger microprobes for surface element detection, and a FTIR unit for identification of organic contaminants. The optical and metallography labs provide metallurgical inspection while our mechanical test facilities offer property determination.
