Milestone Medical was the first to offer advanced microwave technology specifically for use in reducing EM specimen turnaround time. Using EM conventional reagents and consumables, it is now possible to carry out routine processing (including complete fixation and resin polymerization) for EM in approximately 3 hours, up to 48 specimens at a time. This capability will allow pathologists to complete a diagnostic report based on paraffin histology, immunohistochemistry, and EM all on the same day, contributing to a timely, precise diagnosis for improved patient care.
