Ted Pella, Inc introduces new carbon fiber based tools for the microscopy lab. The carbon fiber composite tools have been developed which are softer than steel tools have been developed especially for:

- handling soft metals and delicate materials
- etching and cleaning with aggressive chemicals
- handling magnetic materials or in a magnetic field

The new line of high quality carbon fiber tweezers has been developed as a more efficient alternative to carbon fiber tipped tweezers. A selection of three different carbon fiber probes is available for specimen preparation and handling specimens under the microscope. Carbon fiber calipers have been developed especially to avoid scratching delicate materials when measuring dimensions for applications diverse as forensics, bioscience and manufacturing.

Carbon fiber tools are wear resistant to reduce contamination and are ESD safe (conductive)
